Choosing a real estate agent to sell your home shouldn't be so nerve-wracking. Now it doesn't have to be.

How we started

Our journey started after a conversation between two cousins (Joseph, a real estate broker, and Andy, a software engineer) at a family reunion. Joseph shared his firsthand experience about how a lack of transparency forces home sellers to make key decisions without having access to valuable insights, often resulting in a stressful experience and walking away with less money than they should.

With old and emerging companies providing opaque solutions, they decided to get feedback from future home sellers to determine if their idea was something worth pursuing. After receiving positive responses and valuable observations, the SoldNest journey kicked off.

While they started by solely focusing on building the platform that would be a part of the solution, they began to see an increase in demand from home sellers wanting help finding a reputable agent. So they realized that building the network of the most reputable real estate agents needed just as much attention.

Today, SoldNest is building the foundation for a solution that will empower every homeowner with the confidence they need to know they’re making the right decisions when selling their most valuable asset.

Joseph drives the strategic vision and works closely on all facets of our business as we continue to grow and build the SoldNest platform.

Before SoldNest, he was a real estate agent and broker, following a period of about 7 years when he owned a mortgage company. He holds a real estate broker's license in California and has over 18 years of industry experience.

Andy fearlessly leads our development team and is responsible for SoldNest's underlying technology.

He came to SoldNest with eight years of experience as a software engineer at a leading eCommerce company, where he helped build and scale enterprise data-driven applications. He has a BS in computer science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

The first step? Finding the good agents

The first thing we’re working on is building a network of the most reputable real estate agents. Because you shouldn’t have to worry about picking the wrong person to sell your most valuable asset.
